It’s the last day for Orangeville Police.
The police service will transition to OPP after the town decided to switch to provincial police for services.
The Orangeville Police service has been in existence since 1864 providing safety and security to the community.
The offices at headquarters will close at noon Thursday, and will reopen when renovations are complete.
The Orangeville Police service thanks all community members for their support over the years.
