The Town of Orangeville and some neighbouring municipalities have made a switch when it comes to fire communications.
Mayor Sandy Brown says Orangeville – along with Shelburne, Grand Valley, and Mulmur Melancthon – will be transitioning to fire dispatch services through the Tillsonburg Fire and Rescue Service Communication Centre.
For Orangeville, this will save over $60,000 a year or $300,000 over the 3 years or 2 year option term of this agreement.
