The cause of a fatal Snowbirds crash won’t be known for weeks or possibly months.
Speaking in Moose Jaw yesterday, Lt.-Col. Mike French said the circumstances leading up to the crash are still not known.

A Snowbirds jet crashed shortly after takeoff in Kamloops, B.C. on Sunday, killing Capt. Jenn Casey, and leaving Capt. Richard McDougall with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
At the time, the Snowbirds were doing a cross-country tour to raise people’s spirits during the COVID-19 pandemic.
A video shared on Facebook by Saro Houssikian shows ejections from the plane before it crashed.
