An officer with the Dufferin OPP was recently honoured in Orangeville.
PC Jeff McLean was announced as the recipient of the Respect for Law Program (RFL) Award from the Optimist Club of Orangeville.
The award recognizes individuals who make outstanding contributions to their community and public service.
According to a release from Dufferin OPP, PC McLean is “known for his active involvement in initiatives like the Law Enforcement Torch Run.”
He’s also known for his “support of local events, including his assistance with the Optimist Club of Orangeville’s Christmas in the Park last year.”
Dufferin OPP says its extremely proud of PC McLean and his dedication and commitment to serving the community.
