The pools at Orangeville’s Alder Recreation Centre will reopen before the end of September.
That’s if there are no unforeseen delays.
The project, which started out as a pool liner replacement last summer, led to many challenging issues over the past several months.
The Town discovered several structural issues within the building that houses the pools, so the project had to be adjusted to do the necessary repairs.
This month, the mechanical systems are expected to be installed, with the new leisure and lap pools coming in June.
July will see a new slide and spray features installed, with the new decks completed by September.
Aquatic programs are slated to start back up on September 27th.
