Dufferin-Caledon MP Kyle Seeback isn’t worried who the Liberals put up in an election.
Speaking to Bayshore Broadcasting News, Seeback says “they’re all the same” when asked if it matters who the Liberals elect as their next leader.
“The current people in the government who are gonna run all supported and approved of the policies of Justin Trudeau that’s gotten us to where we are” Seeback added.
He went on to say Mark Carney in particular is a supporter of the Carbon Tax much the same as Trudeau.
Seeback noted that if you look at “the economic problems we have in Canada” it can be linked to Carney who was one of the Prime Ministers key advisors.
Meanwhile, Seeback believes Trudeau’s resignation came at the worst time for not only his party but all Canadians.
“Justin Trudeau has showed a complete lack of concern for the country by doing this entering this economic crisis”, Seeback says.
He went on to say Trudeau should have called the election back in December to sort it out early.
When it comes to incoming President Trump and those potential tariffs, Seeback says his party will make the sure the United States know Canada is its most valuable trading partner.
Seeback was also asked about Trumps comments around Canada becoming the 51st state of the United States of America.
“Absolutely not. We will never become the 51st state. I’m a proud Canadian, I swam on the Canadian national team for 8 years, I’ve got a maple leaf tattoo over my heart.”
He finished by saying “there’s no way that’s going to happen under our watch.”
