Photo radar is being deployed in Essa Township.
A news release from the municipality says the automated speed enforcement cameras will be installed in community safety zones where speeding has been a problem.
But you can’t say you weren’t warned. Signs are being put up advising motorists where the cameras are going to be installed.
The cameras take photos of speeding vehicles, and the system mails out a ticket to the registered owner of the vehicle.
