We now have a better idea of what kind of transformation is being planned for Alliston’s hospital.
Stephenson Memorial Hospital has released artist’s renderings of what an upgraded and expanded hospital will look like.
The expanded facility will be three times larger than what’s there now, and will feature an upgraded emergency department, as well as expansions and improvements to almost every part of the building.
The hospital is already at 70 per cent of its $43 million fundraising goal, which will help pay for the project.
It all goes well construction will start in 2025 and take about three years.
