Beeton’s school is getting new child care spaces.
Earlier today the Ontario Government announced a $1.1 million investment into the Simcoe County District School Board.
In a new release, the government says it’s part of their ongoing efforts to build and improve local school.
They say the school board can now start the process of tendering the renovation of a two-room Child Care Centre at Tecumseth Beeton Elementary School.
When it’s done, the project will see a two room child care centre with 39 child care spaces for local families at the school.
MPP for Simcoe-Grey Brian Saunderson says the funding is great news for the community.
Saunderson went on to say “this investment will ensure families and students have access to great quality learning environment in the years ahead.”
