Visitor restrictions are being eased at Stevenson Memorial Hospital in Alliston.
The hospital is moving to Phase 3 of its visitor policy which states that inpatients are allowed one designated visitor at a time, between 10 am and 8 pm.
There is no limit on the number of visitors per day, but they must be one at a time.
Surgical patients are allowed one support person post-procedure to support them, while Obstetrics patients in labour and delivery are permitted two visitors/supports at a time.
And ER and outpatient clinics will stay at one visitor per patient unless there are extenuating circumstances.
Visitors must still wear a hospital-provided mask, wash their hands and they ask people to stay home if they are sick.
