The Orangeville Public Library Mill Street branch is closing for renovations.
The temporary closure begins this Sunday, October 9th.
To be more accessible, the current 1980s vintage hydraulic lift will undergo a full reconstruction to create an elevator.
As of Tuesday October 11th there will be extended hours at the Alder Street branch, which will be open seven days a week.
9 am to 8 pm Monday – Friday, Saturday from 9 to 5, and Sunday 12-4.
Throughout the closure, Orangeville Library staff will continue to make the library’s collection and services available to the public and in the next few months there will be curbside pickup at Alder, and the dropbox will be closed for returns with an alternate location for that to be determined.
Regular programming will continue at Alder or at other locations in the community, and alternative service delivery options for the collection will be developed.
