The Town of Caledon is reopening some facilities starting Monday June 14.
Mayor Allan Thompson says the reopening of some of the town’s amenities is a “hopeful step towards recovery”.
Thompson says as soon as we can get more people vaccinated, the sooner we can move into the next stage.
Residents are being reminded this is not a full re-opening, and that with the Delta variant continuing to grow in Peel Region, it is vital that all health and safety guidelines are maintained.
At Caledon Town Hall, in-person services will resume by appointment only for document commissioning, property tax payments, marriage licenses, Building and Planning services, and Municipal Law Enforcement.
To book an appointment call 905.584.2272 x7750
Indoor rec centres remain closed, but outdoor ones are open.
Caledon Animal Services will resume adoptions by appointment only, and the Provincial Offences Court remains closed.
