A local family has made a significant donation to the hospital in Alliston.
The Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation has received a donation toward the “Because of You, We Can” Capital Campaign from a family who are longtime supporters.
Sue Leach and David Green have given the first installment of a $50,000 pledge to the hospital.
The $43 million dollar campaign was launched last October for the hospital’s redevelopment project as well as critical equipment and technology upgrades.
SMH’s redevelopment project includes a revitalized Emergency Department, doubling the square footage of the Hospital and tripling the amount of parking space. Refreshed outpatient rooms, birthing suites and laboratory space are also included in the plans.
