The Town of Erin is using some new technology to help inspect sidewalks this year.
The sidewalk inspectors will look a little different as the town has partnered with Top Hat Robotics to use their technology to do the job.
The robots, that look like a box on six rugged wheels, will be out detecting sidewalk deficiencies.
Top Hat Robotics is a local start-up company out of Kitchener-Waterloo.
An employee will accompany the robots on their journey around town.
