Town staff in Orangeville have been completing inspections of play structures, in the planning to reopen 27 playgrounds, including the new playground at Everykids Park which is also set to open for the first time.
Today, all playground structures in town will reopen and it will be the grand opening for the Everykids playground in Harvey Curry Park at Dawson Road and Lawrence.
Everykids playground includes junior slides, climbers, low level monkey bars, accessible rings, and swings — as well as a senior playground with an Explorer Dome with climbing, sliding and spinning features – and the Town’s first artificial turf surface.
Given the ongoing pandemic, the public is asked to wash hands often, especially before and after touching play equipment or shared areas, before and after eating or drinking, and always maintain physical distance while using the play spaces.
