The Parole Board of Canada has released the details of its decision to release drunk driver Marco Muzzo on day parole .
It says Muzzo faces a handful of conditions, including a restriction that he must stay away from Brampton, King City, and Aurora, locations that all relate to his victims and their families.
He is also expected to spend six months in a halfway house and cannot consume alcohol.
Muzzo was sentenced to 10 years behind bars in connection with the 2015 crash that killed 9 year old Daniel Neville-Lake, 5 year old Harrison, 2 year old Milly, and their 65-year-old grandfather Gary Neville.
However, he only spent 4 years at the Beaver Creek Institution in Gravenhurst.
In the decision, the board said Muzzo has regularly participated in counselling sessions to address alcohol use and misuse and will continue sessions upon his release.
