At the Keady Livestock Market on Tuesday, November 21st, 709 head of steers, heifers, cows and bulls were on offer.
Good quality vaccinated cattle sold steady, while 2nd cut unvaccinated cattle sold under pressure, while cows and bulls sold steady.
Steer calves weighing up to 600 pounds sold from $2.17 to $2.77, while heifers sold to $2.55.
Steers weighing 600-800 pounds sold from $1.72 to $2.42 while heifers sold to $1.98.
Steers weighing 800-1000 pounds sold to $2.03 while heifers sold from $1.02 to $1.60.
Cull cows sold from 44 to 87 cents while bulls sold to 79 cents.
At the calf, sheep and goat barn 157 dollar calves were on offer, selling easier.
Holstein male calves weighing 100 to 150 pounds sold up to $320 per head.
There were 42 sheep and goats on offer.
Market lambs weighing 50-64 pounds sold to $3.15 per pound while Billy Goats sold up to $225 per head.
At the small animal sale, Doves sold to 4 dollars per bird, while Silkey Poultry topped at 3. Muscovy Ducks stopped at 6 dollars a piece while Quails sold to four.
