At the Keady Livestock Market on Tuesday, November 14th, 881 head of steers, heifers, cows and bulls were on offer.
All classes of stocker and feeder cattle sold on selective demand at steady prices, while cows and bulls sold steady.
Steer calves weighing up to 600 pounds sold from $2.17 to $2.92, while heifers sold to $2.35.
Steers weighing 600-800 pounds sold from $1.90 to $2.39 while heifers sold to $2.15.
Steers weighing 800-1000 pounds sold to $2.19 while heifers sold from $1.34 to $2.09.
Cull cows sold from 55 to 76 cents while bulls sold to 85 cents.
At the calf, sheep and goat barn 116 dollar calves were on offer, selling easier.
Holstein male calves weighing 100 to 150 pounds sold up to $325 per head.
There were 45 sheep and goats on offer.
Market lambs weighing 65-79 pounds sold to $2.70 per pound while Goat Families sold up to $285 per head.
At the small animal sale, Arcauna Poultry sold to 10 dollars per bird while Buck Rabbits topped at 13. Muscovy Ducks stopped at 11 dollars a piece while Polish Roosters sold to 8.
