At the Keady Livestock Market on Tuesday November 7th, 787 head of steers, heifers, cows and bulls were on offer.
Good quality stocker and feeder cattle sold steady while cows and bulls sold under pressure.
Steers weighing up to 600 pounds sold from $2.02 to $3.11, while heifers sold to $2.38.
Steers weighing 600-800 pounds sold from $2.02 to $2.47 while heifers sold to $2.15.
Steers weighing 800-1000 pounds sold to $2.11 while heifers sold from $1.35 to $2.05.
Cull cows sold from 45 to 73 cents while bulls sold to 90 cents.
At the calf, sheep and goat barn 116 dollar calves were on offer, selling easier.
Holstein male calves weighing 100 to 150 pounds sold up to $320 per head.
There were 29 sheep and goats on offer.
Market lambs weighing 50-64 pounds sold to $2.15 per pound while Nanny Goats sold up to $165 per head.
At the small animal sale, Buff Orpinton Poultry sold to 7 dollars per bird while Silkeys topped at 5. Mixed Rabbits stopped at 19 dollars a piece while Indian Runner Ducks sold to four.
