Up to 100 thousand people are expected in Walton this week for the International Plowing Match and Rural expo.
It is getting underway today with plenty of politicians on hand for the Opening Ceremonies including Premier Kathleen Wynne.
Chair Jacqui Bishop says with the IPM now in its 100th year, there is plenty of fanfare with events like jousting, motocross, dancing tractors and hillbilly horse races.
Bishop says there is live music throughout the event, with several well known stars.
The IPM is hailed as one of North America's biggest outdoor agricultural events.
Bishop says there will be more than 500 exhibitors showcasing agricultural and rural products and educational displays as well.
And she says each day is packed with events including the Road to the Royal Chef Competition.
