At the Keady Livestock Market on Tuesday, August 1st, 111 head of steers, heifers, cows and bulls were on offer.
All classes of stocker and feeder cattle sold steady, while cows and bulls sold fully steady.
Steer calves up to 700 pounds sold from $1.90 to $2.11, while heifers sold to $1.69.
Steers weighing 700-900 pounds sold from $1.80 to $2.05 while heifers sold to $1.69.
Cull cows sold from 72 cents to $1.14 while bulls sold to $1.15.
At the calf, sheep and goat barn 134 dollar calves were on offer, selling fully steady.
Holstein male calves weighing 100 to 150 pounds sold up to $410 per head.
There were 120 sheep and goats on offer.
Market lambs weighing 50-64 pounds sold to $2.87 per pound while Billy Goats sold up to $305 per head.
At the small animal sale, Guinea Keets sold to 8 dollars each, while Turkeys topped at 26. African Geese stopped at 41 dollars per bird while Embden Goslings sold to 10.
