At the Keady Livestock Market on Tuesday July 11th, 101 head of steers, heifers, cows and bulls were on offer, selling fully steady.
Heifer calves up to 600 pounds sold from $1.31 to $1.34.
Steers weighing 6-800 pounds to $1.52 while heifers sold to $1.79.
Steers weighing 800-1000 pounds sold from $1.59 to $1.90.
Cull cows sold from 76 cents to $1.02 while bulls sold to $1.41. Bred cows sold up to $1,300 a piece.
At the calf, sheep and goat barn 89 dollar calves were on offer, selling steady.
Holstein male calves weighing 100 to 150 pounds sold up to $385 per head.
There were 145 sheep and goats were on offer.
Market lambs weighing 50-64 pounds sold to $2.87 per pound while Billy Goats sold up to $375 per head.
At the small animal sale, Bred Doe Rabbits sold to 12 dollars each while Muscovy Duck Hens topped at 20. Buff Ducks stopped at 14 dollars per bird while Guinea Hens sold to 18.
