At the Keady Livestock Market on Tuesday (June 20th), 611head of steers, heifers, cows and bulls were on offer.
Good quality feeder cattle sold barely steady, while cull cows and bulls sold fully steady.
Steer calves up to 600 pounds from $1.30 to $2.72 per pound while heifers sold to $2.02.
Steers weighing 6-800 pounds to $2.24 while heifers sold from 1.47 to $1.82.
Steers weighing 800-1000 pounds sold from $1.79 to $1.92 while same weight heifers sold to $1.62.
Cull cows sold from 90 cents to $1.36 while bulls sold to $1.20.
At the calf, sheep and goat barn 111 dollar calves were on offer, selling steady.
Holstein male calves weighing 100 to 150 pounds sold up to $455 per head.
There were 236 sheep and goats were on offer.
Market lambs weighing 50-64 pounds sold to $3.20 per pound while Nanny Goats sold up to $240 per head.
At the small animal sale, Delaware Poultry sold to 11 dollars each, while Tom Turkeys topped at 49. Love Birds stopped at 25 dollars per bird while Muscovy Ducks sold to 8.
