At the Keady Livestock Market on Tuesday, June 6th, 1095 head of steers, heifers, cows and bulls were on offer.
Heavier cattle sold up to 5 higher, while light weight cattle and cull cows sold steady.
Steer calves up to 600 pounds from $2.30 to $2.61 per pound while heifers sold to $2.14.
Steers weighing 6-800 pounds to $2.52 while heifers sold from 1.79 to $2.08.
Steers weighing 800-1000 pounds sold from $1.87 to $2.10 while same weight heifers sold to $1.86.
Cull cows sold from 87 cents to $1.13 while bulls sold to $1.26.
At the calf, sheep and goat barn 109 dollar calves were on offer, selling slightly higher.
Holstein male calves weighing 100 to 150 pounds sold up to $455 per head.
There were 138 sheep and goats on offer.
Market lambs weighing 50-64 pounds sold to $2.82 per pound while Nanny Goats sold up to $200 per head.
At the small animal sale, Bred Doe Rabbits sold to 13 dollars each, while Hen Families were at 26. White Crested Ducks stopped at 12 dollars per bird while Cockerals sold to twelve.
