At the Keady Livestock Market on Tuesday, 1107 head of steers, heifers, cows and bulls were on offer.
Light weight cattle sold 3-5 dollars higher, heavier cattle sold 2-3 higher and cull cows sold up to 5 cents higher.
Steer calves up to 600 pounds from $1.95 to $2.50 per pound while heifers sold to $2.25.
Steers weighing 6-800 pounds to $2.49 while heifers sold from $1.61 to $1.91.
Steers weighing 800-1000 pounds sold from $1.83 to $2.07 while same weight heifers sold to $1.85.
Cull cows sold from 82 to $1.08 while bulls sold to $1.32.
At the calf, sheep and goat barn 104 dollar calves were on offer, selling sharply higher.
Holstein male calves weighing 100 to 150 pounds sold up to $485 per head.
There were 177 sheep and goats on offer.
Market lambs weighing 50-64 pounds sold to $3.17 per pound while Nanny Goats sold up to $240 per head.
At the small animal sale, Open Doe rabbits sold to 75 dollars each, while Muscovy Drakes topped at 20. Rhode Island Red Poultry stopped at 12 dollars per bird while Geese sold to 36.
