At the Keady Livestock Market on Tuesday, 1656 head of steers, heifers, cows and bulls were on offer.
Grass type cattle sold 2 - 5 higher while heavier cattle sold 1 - 2 higher. Cull cows and bulls sold slightly higher.
Steer calves up to 600 pounds from $2.15 to $2.59 while heifers sold to $2.34
Steers weighing 6-800 pounds to $3.23 while heifers sold from $1.67 to $2.11.
Steers weighing 800-1000 pounds sold from $1.71 to $2.10 while same weight heifers sold to $1.87.
Cull cows sold from 71 to 94 cents while bulls sold to $1.11.
At the calf, sheep and goat barn 99 dollar calves were on offer, selling fully steady.
Holstein male calves weighing 100 to 150 pounds sold up to $465 per head.
There were 173 sheep and goats on offer.
Market lambs weighing 50-64 pounds sold to $3.27 per pound while Billy Goats sold up to $380 per head.
At the small animal sale, Rabbits families sold to $20 each while Embden Goslings topped at 9. Silver Wyndotte Poultry stopped at 24 dollars per bird while Turkeys sold to 28.
