At the Keady Livestock Market on Tuesday, 782 head of steers, heifers, cows and bulls were on offer.
Grass weight cattle sold 5-7 higher, while heavier cattle sold 2-3 higher. Cull cows sold fully steady.
Steer calves up to 600 pounds sold from $1.75 to $2.42 per pound, while heifers sold to a $2.02.
Steers weighing 6-800 pounds sold to $2.36 while heifers sold from $1.64 to $1.95.
Steers weighing 800-1000 pounds sold from $1.77 to $1.90 while the same weight in heifers sold to $1.66.
Cull cows sold from 80 to 86 cents while bulls sold to $1.19.
At the calf, sheep and goat barn 98 dollar calves were on offer, selling higher.
Holstein male calves weighing 100 to 150 pounds sold up to $395 per head.
There were 53 sheep and goats on offer.
Market lambs weighing 50-64 pounds sold to $3.50 per pound and Nanny goats sold up to $200 per head.
At the small animal sale, Buck Rabbits sold 32 dollars each while Muscovy Drakes topped at 19. Rhode Island Red Roosters stopped at 6 dollars per bird while Ganders sold to 33.
