At the Keady Livestock Market on Tuesday, 281 head of steers, heifers, cows and bulls were on offer.
All classes of stocker and feeder cattle sold 1-2 higher, while cull cows sold 3-5 higher.
Steer calves up to 600 pounds sold from $2.00 to $2.17 per pound, while heifers sold to a $1.96.
Steers weighing 6-800 pounds sold from $1.75 to $2.08 while heifers sold to $1.86.
Steers weighing 800-1000 pounds sold to $1.80 while the same weight in heifers sold from $1.41 to $1.49.
Cull cows sold from 79 to 92 cents per pound, while bulls stopped at 95 cents.
At the calf, sheep and goat barn - 115 dollar calves were on offer, selling barely steady.
Holstein male calves weighing 100 to 150 pounds sold up to $265 per head.
There were 70 sheep and goats on offer.
Market lambs sold to $3.12 per pound while Billy Goats sold up to $195.00 per head.
The small animal sale will resume in March.
