At the Keady Livestock Market on Tuesday, 111 head of steers, heifers, cows and bulls were on offer.
Good quality light weight cattle sold actively on solid demand, while cull cows and bulls sold steady.
Steer calves up to 600 pounds sold from $1.95 to $2.31 per pound, while heifers sold to a $1.79.
Steers weighing 6-800 pounds sold from $1.63 to $1.80 and heifers sold to $1.95.
Steers weighing 800-1000 pounds sold to $1.64, while the same weight in heifers sold from $1.04 to $1.34.
Cull cows sold from 68 to 85 cents per pound, while bulls stopped at $1.05.
At the calf, sheep and goat barn - 50 dollar calves were on offer, selling steady.
Holstein male calves weighing 100 to 150 pounds sold up to $215 per head.
There were 51 sheep and goats on offer.
Market lambs sold to $2.90 per pound while Nanny Goats sold up to $135.00 per head.
The small animal sale will resume in March.
