At the Keady Livestock Market on Tuesday, 779 head of steers, and heifers, cows and bulls were on offer.
Good quality stocker and feeder cattle sold fully steady, while cows and bulls sold steady.
Steer calves up to 600 pounds sold from $1.70 to $2.30 per pound, while heifers sold to a $2.21.
Steers weighing 6-800 pounds sold from $1.79 to $2.09 and heifers sold to $1.83.
Steers weighing 800-1000 pounds sold to $1.97, while the same weight in heifers sold from $1.16 to $1.74.
Cull cows sold from 52 to 89 cents per pound, while bulls stopped at $1.02.
At the calf, sheep and goat barn --112 dollar calves were on offer, selling easier.
Holstein male calves weighing 100 to 150 pounds sold up to $255 per head.
There were 235 sheep and goats on offer.
Market lambs weighing 50-64 pounds sold to $3.10 per pound while Billy Goats sold up to $195.00 per head.
At the small animal sale, Budgies sold to 10 dollars per bird while Geese stopped at 8 dollars a piece.
New Zealand Meat Rabbits sold to 6 dollars each while Quails topped at 2.
