The Ontario Forage Master at the Royal Winter Fair use to live in Walkerton.

Chris Brown won the honour -- his family now farms and milks 100 Holsteins near Napanee.

Emke Livestock of Elmwood had a good week in the sheep barn.

It showed the Grand Champion Market Lamb.

The Reserve Champion went to Hugh Todd of the Todd Sheep Company of Lucknow.

The Todd lamb also won the Ontario Southdown Club trophy.

In fact, he had seven lambs finish in the top 5 in their class.

Kevin Bishop of Shayrina Farm of Bluevale was third in the 81 to 90 pound market lamb category.

Joan Finley of Finley Southdowns from Lucknow was second in the class.

Gilchrist Angus from Lucknow had a great day at the National Limousin Show.

He had the first prize bull calf, who went on to be Junior Champion bull and reserve.

Angus also had the first place cow and calf, he took home the second prize breeders herd and the Premier Exhibitor and Premier Breeder banners.

Ashley and Bailey McConnell of Kincardine showed the Junior Heifer calf champion and reserve champion.

Rob Weppler from Tara had the thid prize Heifer calf.
Over in the SImmental ring, Hanover's Erich Kern was third and fifh in the heifer calf classes.

Stan Conquerwood from Maple Key Farm in Port Elgin was second in the yearling female and third with the cow calf combination.
