The Canadian Federation of Agriculture says it's unfortunate negotiators were unable to reach a deal in the Trans Pacific Partnership talks.

The C-F-A says a delayed conclusion leads to uncertainty for all Canadian farmers.

For example, officials say farmers who export goods are left facing inequity of rules and treatment between them and their competitors.

It also points out supply managed farmers face uncertainty over business decisions on their farms.

Local producers did well at the Ontario Red and White Holstein show last week in Listowel.

The Grand Champion was Sunspark Contender Deejay, which won the Mature Cow class.

The animal is bred and owned by the Zevenbergen family in South Bruce Peninsula.

Pail-Lor Holsteins and Jerseys of Auburn had the Reserve Grand Champion.

The winning entry in the Intermediate heifer class was shown by Chakelburg Holsteins of Mildmay.

And the Hanover Fair is being held this weekend.

The annual event begins today with the 4-H Llama Show this afternoon.

There are various agricultural shows and judging takes place all weekend.

You can also see the Hunter and Jumper show and different exhibits.

There's even a children's parade tomorrow.

There are also music concerts tonight and tomorrow night.
