Here are the prices from Tuesday at the Keady Livestock Market
At the Keady Livestock Market on Tuesday -- one thousand and 28 head steers, heifers cows and bulls were on offer.
A good selection of stocker and feeder cattle sold on active demand at steady prices.
Steer calves up to 600 pounds sold up to 3 dollars and 45 cents and the same in heifers sold from 2 dollars 15 to 3 dollars and 7 cents.
Steers 600 to 800 pounds sold from 2 dollars and 17 cents to 2 dollars and 68 cents and the same weight in heifers sold up to 2 dollars and 60 cents.
Steers weighing 800 to a thousand pounds sold from a dollar 65 to 2 dollars and 45 cents while heifers sold for up to 2 dollars and 46 cents.
Cull cows sold from 56 cents to a dollar 19 while bulls sold up to a dollar 36.
At the hog barn, 82 dollar calves were on offer, selling steady.
Holstein male calves weighing 100 to 150 pounds sold up to 465 dollars per head.
Market lambs weighing 50 to 64 pounds sold to 2 dollars and 82 cents per pound.
Billy goats sold up to 185 dollars per head.
At the small animal sale, Appleyard Ducks sold to 7 dollars each while Turkey Hens topped at 21 dollars.
Guinea Fowl sold to 9 dollars per bird while Rabbit families stopped at 31.
