Here are the prices from Tuesday at the Keady Livestock Market.
At the Keady Livestock Market on Tuesday -- 556 head of steers, heifers, cows and bulls were on offer.
Good quality stocker and feeder cattle sold on active demand at fully steady prices while cows sold 2-3 higher.
Steer calves up to 600 pounds sold up to 3 dollars and 21 cents and the same in heifers sold from 2 dollars 38 to 3 dollars and 1 cents.
Steers 600 to 800 pounds sold from 2 dollars and 40 cents to 2 dollars and 99 cents and the same weight in heifers sold up to 2 dollars and 55 cents.
Steers weighing 800 to a thousand pounds sold from 1 dollars and 92 cents to 2 dollars and 57 cents while heifers sold for up to 2 dollars and 38 cents.
Bred Cows sold to 18 hundred and 50 dollars. Cull cows sold to 1 dollar 18 per pound while bulls sold from 92 to 2 dollars
At the hog barn, 60 dollar calves were on offer, selling steady.
Holstein male calves weighing 100 to 150 pounds sold up to 425 dollars per head.
Market lambs weighing 95-109 pounds sold to 2 dollars 14 cents per pound.
Billy Goats sold up to 205 dollars.
At the small animal sale, Guinea Pigs sold to 2 dollars each while Geese topped at six dollars. Barred rock Roosters sold to 4 dollars a bird while Rabbits stopped at 5.
