Progress in Western Grain Backlog

C-N Railway says it provided more than 51-hundred hopper cars for loading last week.

The Canadian Brown Swiss Association is meeting this week in Kincardine.

The annual meeting is taking place at the Best Western.

There will also be tours, where the Norbelle and Dun Rovin herds will be featured.

Good news for the grain backlog in Western Canada.

C-N Railway says it provided more than 51-hundred hopper cars for loading last week.

That is the 4th week in a row it has delivered more than four thousand cars.

C-N is also calling on Western Canadian grain elevator companies to "step up'' their performances.

It also warns climate change will worsen current problems such as poverty, sickness and violence while impeding more efficient crop production.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change says without reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, the impacts from global warming could get out of control.
