Here are the prices from Tuesday at the Keady Livestock Market.
At the Keady Livestock Sale on Tuesday, 838 head of cattle sold in accordance with the current market trend.
Steer calves up to 600 pounds sold up to two dollars and 6 cents and the same in heifers sold from a dollar 48 to a dollar 98.
Steers 600-800 pounds sold from a dollar to a dollar 77 and the same weight in heifers sold to a dollar 53.
Steers weighing over 800-1000 pounds sold up to a dollar 66 and the same in heifers sold up to a dollar 44.
Steers over 1000 pounds sold from a dollar 10 to a dollar 22.
Cull cows ranged from 54 to 82 cents while cull bulls sold up to 84 cents per pound.
At the hog barn, 63 dollar calves were on offer, selling at easier prices:
Holstein male calves weighing 100-150 pounds sold up to $200.00 per head.
Market lambs 50-64 pounds sold up to $1.40 per pound while nanny goats topped at a hundred and 22 dollars.
At the small animal sale, Starting to Lay Pullets sold up to 12 dollars a piece, wild Budgies stopped at 6.
Rabbits sold for 7 dollars each, while Guinea Fowl topped at 5 dollars a bird.
