Here are the prices from Tuesday at the Keady Livestock Market.
At the Keady Livestock Sale on Tuesday, 965 head of vaccinated and pre-sorted heifer and steer calves sold on strong buyer demand at fully steady prices.
Steer calves up to 600 pounds sold up to two dollars and 24 cents and the same in heifers sold from a dollar 80 to a dollar 97.
Steers 600-800 pounds sold from a dollar 67 to a dollar 86 and the same weight in heifers sold to a dollar 56.
Steers weighing over 800 pounds sold up to a dollar 70 and the same in heifers sold up to a dollar forty-seven.
At the hog barn, 79 dollar calves were on offer, selling at steady prices:
Holstein male calves weighing 100-150 pounds sold up to $240.00 per head.
Market lambs 50-64 pounds sold up to $1.85 per pound while billy goats topped at a hundred and 12 dollars.
At the small animal sale, Call Ducks sold up to 7 dollars each, while Peacocks stopped at 25.
Flemish Doe Rabbits sold for 8 dollars each while Guinea Hens topped at 8 dollars a bird.
