A busy day at the Keady Livestock sale on Tuesday -- 11 hundred and 34 head of stocker cattle sold at fully steady prices.
Steer calves up to 600 pounds sold to a dollar 99 per pound and the same in heifers sold up to a dollar 37 to a dollar 77.
Steers from 600 to 800 pounds sold from a dollar 36 to a dollar 66 and the same weight in heifers sold to a dollar 54.
Steers 800 to a thousand pounds sold from a dollar 38 to a dollar 53 and heifers from a dollar 18 to a dollar 39.
Cull cows sold from 58 to 71 cents per pound and cull bulls to 65.
At the hog barn, 84 dollar calves were on offer, selling at steady prices.
Holstein male calves weighing 100 to 150 pounds sold from 80 to 110 dollars per head.
Market lambs 50 to 64 pounds sold up to a dollar 70 per pound while nubian billy goats topped at 133 dollars per head.
At the small animal sale, Laying Hens sold to 5 dollars a piece while Ready to Lay Pullets stopped at 8.
Pekin Ducks sold to 5 dollars per bird while Muscovy Ducks topped at 11.
