Farmers encouraged to share strengths and weaknesses of agriculture industry.
Farmers across the province are being encouraged to share information with the Progressive Conservatives.
Agriculture critic Ernie Hardeman has launched a survey that looks at the strengths and weaknesses of the industry.
And Bill Walker -- the MPP for Bruce Grey Owen Sound encourages farmers to fill out the two page form.
Walker says they will use the information to ensure the government is doing enough to support the agriculture industry.
All Conservative MPP's have the survey available on their website or at their constituency office.
An official with Ontario Goat says it is a lost opportunity.
Vice President Anton Slingerland says producers have turned down a proposal for a goat marketing board.
To succeed, the vote would have required two-thirds of the producers voting to support the idea.
Slingerland says having marketing board status would have allowed producers to work together on issues facing the industry.
