At the Keady Livestock sale on Tuesday -- 390 head of stocker cattle and cows were on offer with a good active market with prices 1 to 2 dollars higher.
Steer calves up to 600 pounds sold to a dollar 63 per pound and the same in heifers sold up to a dollar 46.
Steers from 600 to 800 pounds sold from a dollar 45 and the same weight in heifers sold from a dollar 10 to a dollar 40.
Steers 800 to a thousand pounds sold from a dollar 33 to a dollar and 46 cents and heifers to a dollar 27.
Cull cows sold from 56 to 74 cents per pound and cull bulls to 80.
At the hog barn, 72 dollar calves were on offer, at lower prices.
Holstein male calves weighing 100 to 150 pounds sold from 30 to 127 dollars and 50 cents.
Market lambs 50 to 64 pounds sold up to 2 dollars and 6 cents while pygmy billy goats topped at 102 dollars per head.
At the small animal sale, Muscovy Duck families sold to 20 dollars while Call Ducks stopped at 15.
Fryer Rabbits sold to 10 dollars a piece while Guinea Fowl topped at 14.
