At the Keady Livestock sale on Tuesday -- 857 head of stocker cattle and cows were on offer.

All classes of replacement stocker cattle sold on good demand at barely steady prices.

Steer calves up to 600 pounds sold to a dollar 70 per pound and the same in heifers sold up to a dollar 40.

Steers from 600 to 800 pounds sold from a dollar 40 to a dollar 54 per pound and the same weight in heifers sold from a dollar 25 to a dollar 35.

Steers 800 to a thousand pounds sold from a dollar 27 to a dollar and 44 cents and heifers to a dollar 32.

Cull cows sold from 63 to 76 cents per pound and cull bulls to 63.

At the hog barn, 65 dollar calves were on offer, selling at steady prices.

Holstein male calves weighing 100 to 150 pounds sold from 90 to 155 dollars per head.

Market lambs from 50 to 64 pounds sold up to 2 dollars and 15 cents per pound while billy goats topped at 145 dollars per head.

At the small animal sale, Free Range Pullets sold to 16 dollars per piece while Turkeys stopped at 15.

Muscovy Ducks sold to 10 dollars a piece while Harlequin Ducks topped at 11.
