Prices from Tuesday at the Keady market.

At the Keady Livestock sale on Tuesday -- 887 head of stocker cattle and cows were on offer.

A good selection of stocker and feeder cattle sold on firm demand at steady prices.

Steer calves up to 600 pounds sold to a dollar 96 per pound and the same in heifers sold up to a dollar 75.

Steers from 600 to 800 pounds sold from a dollar 53 to a dollar 75 per pound and the same weight in heifers sold from a dollar 32 to a dollar 62.

Steers 800 to a thousand pounds sold from a dollar 32 to a dollar 57, and heifers to a dollar 37.

Cull cows sold from 68 to 84 cents per pound and cull bulls from 89.

At the hog barn, 70 dollar calves were on offer, selling at steady prices.

Holstein male calves weighing 100 to 150 pounds sold from 180 to 285 dollars per head.

Market lambs from 50 to 64 pounds sold up to 2 dollars and 30 cents per pound while billy goats topped at a hundred and 50 dollars per head.

At the small animal sale, Red Golden Pheasants sold to 52 dollars per bird while Geese stopped at 34.

Golden Seabright Bantam Poultry sold to 16 dollars a piece while Turkeys topped at 17.
