Prices from Tuesday at the Keady Market.

At the Keady Livestock sale on Tuesday, 311 head of stocker cattle and cows were on offer.

A good offering of grass weight cattle sold on steady demand at slightly higher prices.

Steer calves up to 600 pounds sold up to a dollar 95 per pound and the same in heifers sold up to a dollar 67.

Steers from 600 to 800 pounds sold from a dollar 40 to a dollar 77 per pound and the same weight of heifers sold from a dollar 36 to a dollar 49.

Steers 800 to a thousand pounds sold from a dollar 33 to a dollar 51 and heifers to a dollar 31.

At the hog barn, 33 dollar calves were on offer, selling higher.

Holstein male calves weighing from 100 to 150 pounds sold from 210 to 300 dollars per head.

Market lambs 50 to 64 pounds sold up to 247 dollars and 50 cents per hundred weight while nanny kids topped 42 dollars per head.

At the small animal sale, Pheasants sold to 11 dollars per bird while Bred Doe Rabbits stopped at nine dollars.

Guinea Fowl reached 7 dollars while Fryer rabbits topped at four.
