Tarrah Young is hosting the popular workshop on Sunday at Green Being Farm in Neustadt -- the day long session runs from 9:30 AM till 4 PM.

There is a Crop Walk in West Grey today.

He will talk about weed control, nitrogen trail and tillage.

The Crop Walk starts at 10 AM.

The Grey Bruce Christian Farmers Association is holding its annual summer barbeque this weekend.

It takes place at 1 PM on Sunday at the farm of Ian and Ruth McCombie in Vesta, just west of Chesley.

Livestock producers in Saskatchewan made good haying progress over the last week and now have 59 per cent of the hay crop cut.

Saskatchewan Agriculture says 87 per cent of the hay crop is rated as good to excellent in quality -- with none reported to be in poor condition.

And a new, expanded Canadian Wheat Board lab is officially opening today in Saskatoon.

The larger facility will allow board technicians to complete twice as many grading and quality control tests as in the original, smaller space.
