Prices from Tuesday at the Keady market.


Length:

At the Keady Livestock sale on Tuesday -- 188 head of stocker and feeder cattle, cows and bulls were on offer.

All classes of feeder cattle sold on good demand at steady prices.

Steer calves up to 600 pounds sold to a dollar 46 and heifers to a dollar 33.

Steers from 600 to 800 pounds sold from a dollar 10 to a dollar 45 per pound and the same range in heifers traded to a dollar 22.

Yearling steers 800 to a thousand pounds sold from a dollar 3 to a dollar 30 and heifers to a dollar 20.

Cull cows sold at a range from 46 to 72 cents per pound and cull bulls up to 83.

At the hog barn, 70 dollar calves were on offer, selling at slightly higher prices.

Holstein male calves weighing over 100 pounds sold from 20 to 78 dollars apiece.

Market lambs 50 to 64 pounds sold to 2 dollars and 22 cents per pound while Nanny Goats stopped at 240 dollars per head.

At the small animal sale -- Peafowl sold up to 43 dollars a piece while Geese reached 11.

Call Ducks traded from 11 to 14 dollars per bird while Muscovy Ducks topped at 10.
