Prices from Tuesday at the Keady market.

At the Keady Livestock sale on Tuesday -- 522 head of stocker and feeder cattle, cows and bulls were on offer.

Good quality heavy weight feeder cattle sold on strong demand at slightly higher prices.

Steer calves up to 600 pounds sold to a dollar 66 per pound and heifers to a dollar 50.

Steers from 600 to 800 pounds sold from a dollar to a dollar 46 per pound and the same range in heifers traded to a dollar 34.

Yearling steers 800 to a thousand and 50 pounds sold from a dollar 16 to a dollar 32 and heifers to a dollar 17.

Cull cows sold at a range from 57 to 75 cents per pound and cull bulls sold to 87 cents.

At the hog barn, 43 dollar calves were on offer, selling at slightly higher prices.

Holstein male calves weighing over 100 pounds sold from 30 to 135 dollars apiece.

Market lambs 50 to 64 pounds sold to 2 dollars and 10 cents per pound while Billy Goats stopped at 305 dollars per head.

At the small animal sale -- Zebra Finches sold up to 17 dollars per bird while Diamond Doves reached 16 dollars apiece.

Peafowl sold up to 50 dollars per bird while Geese topped at 26.
