It was a busy day at the Keady Livestock sale on Tuesday -- with 627 head of stocker and feeder cattle, cows and bulls were on offer.
All classes of stocker and feeder cattle sold on active demand at steady prices.
Steer calves up to 600 pounds sold to a dollar 48 per pound and heifers to a dollar 45.
Steers from 600 to 800 pounds sold from a dollar 19 to a dollar 32 per pound and the same range in heifers traded from a dollar 19 to a dollar 27.
Yearling steers 800 to a thousand pounds sold from a dollar 11 to a dollar 27 per pound and the same in heifers sold to a dollar 15.
Cull cows sold at a range from 52 to 70 cents per pound and cull bulls sold to 79 cents.
At the hog barn, 91 dollar calves were on offer, selling at lower prices.
Holstein male calves weighing over 100 pounds sold from 40 to 155 dollars apiece.
Market lambs -- 50 to 64 pounds -- sold up to 1 dollar and 95 cents per pound.
At the small animal sale -- Week old Muscovy Hen and Ducklings sold up to 28 dollars per family, while Ringneck Pheasants stopped at 15.
Royal Pom Turkeys traded up to 19 dollars a piece while Call Ducks stopped at 21.
