Prices from Tuesday at the Keady Market.

At the Keady Livestock sale on Tuesday -- 722 head of stocker and feeder cattle, cows and bulls were on offer.

All classes of cattle sold on good demand at steady prices.

Steer calves up to 600 pounds sold to a dollar 66 per pound and heifers to a dollar 41.

Steers from 600 to 800 pounds sold from a dollar 32 to a dollar 63 per pound and the same range in heifers traded from a dollar 18 to a dollar 37.

Yearling steers 800 to a thousand pounds sold from a dollar 9 to a dollar 33 per pound and the same in heifers sold to a dollar 14.

Cull cows sold at a range from 59 to 74 cents per pound and bulls from 74 to 87.

At the hog barn, 52 dollar calves were on offer, selling at barely steady prices.

Holstein male calves weighing over 100 pounds sold from 100 to 205 dollars apiece.

Lightweight market lambs -- 50 to 64 pounds -- sold up to 2 dollars and 69 cents per pound.

At the small animal sale, Guinea Fowl sold to 12 dollars per bird, while Aracona Poultry stopped at 8.

Chucker Partridges sold to 9 dollars a piece while Pea Fowl reached 42.
