Today is the last day for the annual Farm Show at Western Fair in London.

The speakers on today's agenda will focus on grain prices and corn technology.

We told you about the warnings earlier this week.

The federal government is providing 175 thousand dollars to the Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council of Canada.

The funding will help develop global market opportunities for Canadian pet food products -- and increase the sales, exports and value of its products.

Products include a range of pet food for dogs, cats, birds and other domesticated animals.

The council will also attend U-S and other international trade shows -- and participate in outgoing missions.

---------

The Harper government is giving 24 thousand dollars to the Canadian Highly Migratory Species Foundation to help increase market shares for albacore tuna.

The foundation will use the money to develop global market opportunities for Canadian products.

They will also promote the Canada brand by developing promotional material and attending industry trade shows in Europe and Asia.
