Maple Syrup Producers Meet

The Ontario crop from 2010 produced a 60 to 65 per cent yield.

One of the top producing maple syrup regions in Ontario is right here in Grey Bruce.

President Nick Bereznick tells us the crop from this past year only produced a 60 to 65 per cent yield.

Bereznick says they will talk about the crop as well as other issues at tomorrow's Grey Bruce producers annual general meeting.

The meeting begins at 8:30 AM on Saturday at the Hartley House in Walkerton.

It runs all day and is open to everyone.
